Immunization Checklist for Aging Adults

Over 90% of children 35 months and younger receive their vaccines and immunizations as scheduled. Yet 80% of adults 65 and older do not have their whooping cough immunization.  Another astounding fact from the Immunization USA.org -  “Influenza kills more people in the United States than all other vaccine-preventable diseases combined.”

 

Help our seniors stay active and healthy by using this simple checklist of all the necessary immunizations.

 

 

  • Influenza (Flu)

  • Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

  • Diphtheria.

  • Tetanus.

  • Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

  • Pneumococcal disease (Pneumonia)

  • Chickenpox Vaccine (Chickenpox)

 

Additional immunization which should be considered depending on current health.  These immunizations may require additional doctor approval and/or recommendations.

 

  • Hepatitis A Vaccine

  • Hepatitis B Vaccine

  • MMR Vaccine

  • Meningitis (Meningococcal Vaccine)

  • Hib (Haemophilius Influenzae type b) Vaccine
